Youth Jiu-Jitsu Classes in Palm Beach Gardens
Our goal is to provide a fun safe environment for your kids to grow physically and mentally with a great Jiu Jitsu program that not only teaches them self-defense skills, but also empower children with Confidence, Discipline, Respect, Awareness and developing a positive attitude to be a success on and off the mats.
We separate our Youth Jiu-Jitsu program into age groups to allow for more hands on and age specific training.
- Little Champions – Ages 4-6
- Junior Champions – Ages 7-12
- Teenagers – Ages 13-15
Jiu Jitsu is known worldwide as one of the most effective and efficient forms of self-defense. Our goal is to teach students realistic self-defense strategies and techniques. Real self-defense starts with children learning how to stick up for themselves safely against bullies and people wishing to harm them. We are not teaching our students how to hurt other children but rather how to use the techniques of Jiu Jitsu to control a bully until the bully gives up or help arrives.
Focus and Concentration
Students will learn how to focus their energy and concentration in a positive way. While learning how to become comfortable in uncomfortable situations they will easily increase their problem solving skills by focusing and concentrating on what needs to be done. This can very well translate into other aspects of their life including school and academics.
Confidence and Discipline
Through Jiu Jitsu training confidence is built as the students skills improve. Each class they will be exposed to new techniques, movements and challenges. As they learn these new skills and face new challenges their confidence will grow. Getting your child to class 2-3 times per week will help them develop good habits of discipline. This is crucial to learn at a young age as it keeps them focused on consistency that will stick with them their entire lives.
It’s no secret that with technology more kids are becoming less active and overweight every year. Jiu Jitsu is a fun way to get your child active and learn the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle. Each class we combine strength training, cardio and functional training to improve each child’s overall athleticism including strength, coordination, agility and endurance.
