Our program incorporates valuable lessons on and off the mat that promote confidence, self-belief and discipline. Most children love Brazilian Jiu Jitsu because it’s flat out fun. We separate our Youth Jiu-Jitsu program into age groups to allow for more hands on and age specific training.
- Little Champions – Ages 3-6
- Junior Champions – Ages 7-12
Self-Defense & Anti-Bullying
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is known worldwide as one of the most effective, efficient and realistic forms of Self-Defense due to the main concept of applying leverage, timing and technique even against a much larger or stronger opponent. We teach our children how to stand up against bullies and not be a victim. Jiu-Jitsu teaches us that we can defend ourselves using non-violent techniques to control an opponent without the need to injure or harm the person. Which is why Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a must for all children.
Focus and Concentration
Students will learn how to focus their energy and concentration in a positive way. While learning how to become comfortable in uncomfortable situations they will easily increase their problem solving skills by focusing and concentrating on what needs to be done. This can very well translate into other aspects of their life including school and academics.
Confidence and Discipline
Through Jiu Jitsu training confidence is built as the students skills improve. Each class they will be exposed to new techniques, movements and challenges. As they learn these new skills and face new challenges their confidence will grow. Getting your child to class 2-3 times per week will help them develop good habits of discipline. This is crucial to learn at a young age as it keeps them focused on consistency that will stick with them their entire lives.
